Annual publication dedicated to vernacular architecture research.
The magazine is bilingual – English – Romanian – since January 2016.
Each edition has a specific theme, yet flexible enough to encompass articles, as well as reviews or research on the subject and related areas such as history of architecture in Romania, particularities within the regional cultural heritage, conservation – restoration.
The subject area refers to Romanian vernacular heritage, studied and approached in all its forms: rural sites, architecture, building techniques, landscape, cultural landscapes, ethnography, forms of artistic outpourings, anthropology.
The magazine is open to academics of “Ion Mincu“ University of Architecture and Urban Planning Bucharest and foreign universities, to researchers in Romania and abroad, as well as to architects, restorers, urban planners, etc. Students can be authors as long as their research papers are guided by a university member, explicitly mentioned.
